Well this is my first post.

I guess this is it? I still ponder the meaning of the word blog, I mean thinking about it now it sounds pretty stupid. People would have probably laughed at you 20 years ago, had you said that you were writing in a blog they would probably say "You are writing in a block?" So now I am going to debate the phrase blog....

Nah just kidding. Basically I may just post my poems and my day to day affairs here, I guess thats what its for right? well to start with...

Today.

I attend my english literature class. Now it seems that my usual lecturer is away (something about an operation on his leg?) so instead we get stuck with a different teacher. Im still working out whether this is actually a woman or the resident Transvestite/Circus clown that has escaped. Yes she is THAT ugly. One other factor to take into account is that she is obviously a feminist, now I wouldnt have a problem with that because she can be whatever she wants ,UNLESS it creeps into her teaching. Did it? Yes it did. We have had this teacher for 3 lessons now, and ive been constantly defending her obvious biast to the way women are treated in the modern stories we are reading. I would think that an english lecturer would be much more proffesional and not let her own personal feelings creep in, and yet im wrong. She even goes as far as to spill her opinions over into our society today, now if im not wrong, in today's society the treatment of women is no longer a gender issue but an issue of the individual themselves. It even goes further to the point in which aswell as the males defending there gender the females of the class are also defending the males.

*Sigh* One of my favourite subjects has been wrecked by a feminist, Transvestite clown.

Well thats all for today, I think ive ranted enough about my teacher.

Heres my latest poem.. I hope you enjoy.

To Face the Stars

A man would have said to me,
that I would never find what I searched for
But if it is gold that I want,
that is all I will find

Yet should I glance into the rain,
let the drops fall on my face
The sun break through the clouds,
and a soft wind blow my way

In the early night the moon would shine,
the beauty of the stars grace me
I would hope the light to shine on my face,
and the darkness to take my back

Let those heights terrify me so,
and those lows pull me in
Give my bones the strength to hold me,
so that I can go one more step

I would never gain a life but my own,
never live another
So one would hope to really live,
if you ever had the chance.
